27th April 2003 Windsurfing: Tenby South Beach Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 15 Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Full day down on ther beach with a promise of 25-30 knots. I used my 5.8 as id left it riged up at the beach-hut the day before, thinking i was going to be waaay overppowered - but no! Was just able to get planning on my 5.8 and a 85 litre board. Water was also eerily flat so no jumps either. Had a full two day pass and no winds...next weekend im at a wedding - so its gonna blow! Have decided that ive crossed some weight threshold for my axxis and 5.8 - now over 13 stones and it seems to be a tad too much for this combo. Other people went out with 6.5 and had a blast Time to fork out for that 100 liter (cross/skate) and 6.5 combo i think! Working form home today - so gonna try this evo...looks howling out of the wndow! |
